The Youngstown Flea hosts a “Market For Makers” once-per-month, right in the heart of the Downtown Youngstown area. Our market is dedicated to local/regional vendors of hand-made, antique and repurposed wood/metal/furniture, vintage clothing, and collectibles. We hand select the best picks in town who have a true passion for creating. 2020 Flea Dates: Apr 18
Bring your dog out to hunt for easter eggs filled with dog treats, photos with the Easter bunny, vendors, raffles, and more!
The event will be from 12-3pm, rain or shine. Dog egg hunts will be moved inside if necessary due to weather. Time of hunts TBD.
*Dogs must be leashed at all times and you must sign a waiver before entering the event.

This one is for the dogs…and you’re invited, too. LakewoodAlive’s 12th Annual Spooky Pooch Paradesponsored by Discount Drug Mart brings the bark to Kauffman Park on Saturday, October 19, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. when dogs will rule the day in Downtown Lakewood.
The Spooky Pooch Parade consists of a free-to-attend festival in Kauffman Park, a parade through Lakewood’s downtown business district on Detroit Avenue and an awards presentation. A favorite Halloween tradition for Northeast Ohio dog lovers and their families, this community festival represents one of the only events of its kind in the region, providing a tail-wagging good time for canine and human guests alike.
Tickets for this celebration of costumed canines will go on sale on August 21. Pre-registration to walk in the parade is $10 per dog and day-of registration is $15 per dog. Multiple dog discounts are available with pre-registration only. Humans are free. This popular community event takes place rain or shine, and proceeds from the parade benefit LakewoodAlive.

All funds raised benefit Canine Companions for Independence and their mission of matching assistance dogs with children, adults and veterans with disabilities, free of charge. These expertly trained assistance dogs make a profound impact through the jobs they do like opening doors, picking up dropped items, alerting to sounds and much more.

Register and start fundraising for the biggest dog festival in Northeast Ohio! Woofstock 2019 will take place at The Cleveland Metroparks Polo Field on Sunday, September 15 from 10 AM - 4 PM and will gather thousands of people and their pups to #GroovePlayFundraise for the homeless animals of Rescue Village.
This year, we need your help more than ever! We're hoping to raise $100,000 by fundraising for homeless animals. We encourage you to not only attend Woofstock this year, but start a fundraising page and ask your friends and family members to help support the animals at Rescue Village!

Our flea market has a little bit of everything--FOOD TRUCKS, handmade jewelry, estate sale finds, home décor, handcrafted soap, homemade desserts, local produce, art, FREE YOGA SESSIONS first thing in the morning at the gazebo, live music throughout the day, FREE BALLOON ART from The Magic Man, face painting and a kids game area. Stop to see the Alpacas and more! Each month we sell raffle tickets to benefit a selected local charity in addition to a food drive for a local food bank. Our events are dog friendly, but pets must be on a leash!

Join us as we partner with Rescue Village and City Dogs Cleveland to celebrate our third anniversary! $1 from every beer sold throughout the day benefits these awesome organizations. This family-friendly event features games & activities, raffles, vendors, and adoptable pups.
Oh, and come thirsty, because we're releasing a special anniversary brew.
Well-behaved, leashed furry friends are welcome, and we ask that dogs remain in our event areas and patios.
We'll have a free caricature artist on site doing portraits of you and your pup, as well as a free face painter for the kids! Stay tuned for our vendor list.
Register your dog and come make history at Pinecrest by helping us break the Guinness World Record for the largest dog photo shoot!
To help us break the record, here is what you need to know:
1. To qualify your dog for our World Record attempt, you must register in advance. Register by clicking this link (http://bit.ly/PAWSPINECREST)
2. All participating dogs must be at least one year old.
3. Upon arrival in Central Park, head to the registration & photo area near the future Red Steakhouse space where your dog will be individually photographed. Please arrive early to ensure your dog is fully registered and individually photographed before the 4:30pm group photo.
4. At 4:30pm, all dogs participating for the record must be photographed in a group photo on the lawn of Central Park. Each handler may only supervise one animal.
5. Dogs must be photographed with a completely natural appearance. Animals must not wear any attire, e.g. harness, clothing, jewelry, etc. and must not have any modifications beyond standard grooming – e.g. dying, styling, painting, etc. will be not be permitted.
6. Standard gear for safe handling (removable collar and leash) is permitted. No animals may wear anything corrective such as a prong or shock collar.
